Who we are
EGSL Hair runs egslhair.com and is responsible for the personal data collected here.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, and what you bought.
- Accounts: your login details and order history, if you create an account.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details, used to keep the site secure.
Card details are entered with our payment provider. We don’t store them.
Why we use it
To fulfil your order and support you (our contract with you), to meet tax and accounting law (legal obligation), and to keep the site secure (our legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
Only those who help us run the shop: website hosting and security providers, our payment provider and our delivery company. Some of them handle data outside the UK, including in the United States. We never sell your data.
Cookies
We use cookies only to run the site, such as keeping your basket, keeping you logged in and protecting against attacks. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser, but the basket and login may stop working.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, or object to how we use it. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
